ISLAMABAD, Dec 11 (APP):Indus River System Authority (IRSA) on Wednesday released 82,300 c
usecs water from various rim stations with inflow of 39,800 cusecs.
According to the data released by IRSA, water level in River Indus at Tarbela Dam was 1480.54 feet and was 82.54 feet higher than its dead level of 1,398 feet. Water inflow and outflow in the dam was recorded as 18,000 c
usecs and 41,000 c
usecs respectively.
The water level in River Jhelum at Mangla Dam was 1145.75 feet, which was 95.75 feet higher than its dead level of 1,050 feet. The inflow and outflow of water was recorded 5,500 c
usecs and 25,000 c
usecs respectively.
The release of water at Kalabagh, Taunsa , Guddu and Sukkur was recorded as 48,100, 42,600, 37,700 and 7,300 c
usecs respectively. Similarly, from River Kabul, a total of 10,200 c
usecs of water released at Nowshera and 2,000 c
usecs released from River Chenab at Marala.
